WOYWW Feb 9/11

It's Wednesday and that means it's time for What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday!  You can play too, just hop on over to Julia's Stamping Ground, add your link and show everyone what's on your desk!
Today on my desk I am working on a card, so just normal card making stuff.  But look toward the upper right corner of the picture and see what I got today!  A wooden house frame/shelf thingy!  I have no idea how I will alter it yet but it is sitting there for inspiration for now.
Thank you to everyone who dropped by last week and left such lovely comments about the pencil drawing I did! You are all the best :)

Hi Karen.
It is me again!
Thank you for noticing my cuckoo. Between you and I it is my blog. It is taking up too much time.. not sure what I am going to do yet!

You will find your style develops and it often takes a while before you find it. Did you watch the film, 'The Glen Miller Story'?

Thanks for your comment
Have a lovely day

ArKaz, it looks really great .. it all looks so very organised ... here!!

.. and re the brayer work there are some really good you tube videos and the links I made on that post take you to two ladies who are tops at it , Eileen and Shaz-silverwolf.Key is not to press heavily, but use a gentle hand. I have this cos dont have much strength in mine so dont really have the problem there some folk do!
Also the link was for the You-tube video with Sandy Hulsart she also has a great blog here..

Thanks for the peek, do you prefer pencils over markers?

Great desk Karen, I'm another pencil fan too, love using them. Great little house, what are you planning on doing with it? Never altered anything in my life, well, except my mind in occasion!!

Good luck with the house box! I love these but haven't purchased one yet. I'm afraid it will only sit and collect dust!

Don't rush into your frame house - have a good think about it - that's what I do. Love those little characters you have on your desk and that mug is just like one I am using most of the time here in California.
Did you see my award for you?

Ooh don't you work neatly! I love the little sticker from Suzy! Good luck with the house..I've learned not to leave things on my desk. I just move them round for a couple of years and then get fed up and erm, file them! Make abetter job of it - it deserves it!

That little house looks great and I cannot wait to see what you create with it. I love your drawing from last week, and I admire your determination to succeed. As far as the brayering is concerned, I can vouch personally for the ability of Shaz Silverwolf (she is the mother-in-law of my daughter), and masters every technique she tries. She is also very generous with her time and help, like most crafters. Our joint grandaughter had no real choice about becoming a crafter - fortunately she loves creating things.
