Hi Karen, thanks for your visit today and your lovely comments. The reflections are much easier than they appear. You ink up the stamp, then run the brayer up it, put the reflection in from the brayer and then add the main image after. It is easier to do the stamp after the reflections because you can see where you position the stamp to match the reflection. You need to watch Barbara Gray to get the best view of the technique.

Hi Karen, me again! Thank you so much for the awesome comments on my blog! You made my day. As for not having a Cricut, it's no problem with simple shapes like gears. There are loads of images online and you can download them and make them what size you like. When you make shrink plastic stuff you start off so large that it's easy to lay the piece of plastic over the image and trace it, and then cut it out with scissors or a knife. When you shrink it, any small errors disappear anyway. That's how most people do it, I think. I was just pleased that Jiminy Cricut was up to the job of cutting because I like to save my drawings as cut files and let him do all the hard work!!
