It is time for What's On Your Wordesk Wednesday once again but today I am posting a picture of my bookshelf that holds my wood rubber stamps, my box of Suzi Blu stamps, tins of Darkroom Door stamps and my inks. My desk had paperwork on it and I did not want to take a picture of that, yuck.
So if you want to see more desks or enter your own desk into the fabulous blog hop, just click above on the highlighted words and have fun!

What comes from the heart...
The finished pages in my art journal that I was working on in my previous post. There are quite a few layers behind the heart with the quotation as I kept re-doing it until I liked the look of it!

WOYWW Feb 16/11
It is Wednesday again! So hop on over to The Stamping Ground and play along with What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday! Post a picture of what is on your workspace and then hop all over the blogosphere to see all the other desks too!
My desk is relatively tidy today as I am still working on my art journal and was only adding some pencil crayon colouring to the face I am working on. So that's it for me today, short and sweet, so you can get hopping and commenting on to more desks!
Happy WOYWW everyone!

Birthday and Going Away cards
Two cards that I can now post as their recipients have received them.
The first one is a birthday card for a lovely friend and it features MoonGirl wearing a crown. The crown has gems on the top and the sentiment is one of my favourites!
And the second card was for an employee who is leaving and I made a group card to give him with a cast of characters coloured in with pencils crayons.

Thank you Neet!
The lovely Neet at Hickydorums gave me this award! I am so honored that someone as talented as herself follows my blog and would think of me to pass along this award. Thank you so much Neet!
There are a couple of conditions for the award
You have been TAGGED and want to participate?
Then create a post where you post the 'LOVE BLOG' image.
You should also blog the persons link that gave you the award and inform her/him that you accept the award.
You then choose 3 - 5 favourite blogs which you also link in your post, then inform each blogger that they have been tagged.
Dear bloggers:
The aim of this action is that we bring unknown, good blogs to light, so I would ask you not to blog fellow bloggers that already have 3,000 followers.
It is hard to pick only five but these are who I will pass the award along to:
These are all fabulous ladies and I hope anyone reading this will check out their blogs!

WOYWW Feb 9/11
It's Wednesday and that means it's time for What's on Your Workdesk Wednesday! You can play too, just hop on over to Julia's Stamping Ground, add your link and show everyone what's on your desk!
Today on my desk I am working on a card, so just normal card making stuff. But look toward the upper right corner of the picture and see what I got today! A wooden house frame/shelf thingy! I have no idea how I will alter it yet but it is sitting there for inspiration for now.
Thank you to everyone who dropped by last week and left such lovely comments about the pencil drawing I did! You are all the best :)

Art, Heart & Healing
I started another on-line course called Art, Heart & Healing. It is at Tam's site willowing.org if you would like to check it out! It is a Free course!
In this lesson, on the left hand side of the page I first wrote down my negative thoughts and then gesso'd over them, and then drew a stylized face on the right hand page. And then there are lots of fun layers over all that gesso. Pencil crayons, paint, stamping. And then a positive affirmation on top of where the negative thoughts used to be. It was lots of fun to do and I am looking forward to more mixed-media fun ahead!

WOYWW Feb2/11
It is Wednesday and that means it is time for WOYWW! Go to The Stamping Ground and you can magically be transported all over the world to get a sneak peek at all sorts of artists and crafters desks!
Okay, I am not showing much of my desk today because there is really nothing of note on it except for this sketch. Yes, I did this sketch!! I can hardly believe it because I have never been able to draw anything! But after my little playtime with my Suzi Blu stamps a couple weeks back, I started to research her a little and found that she has on-line classes. I decided to start with her Goddess and Poet class to try out her "stylized faces". So I downloaded the classes, drew a few spheres, 4 eyes, 2 noses and 2 mouths. And tonight I decided to give a whole face a try! This is my first face I have ever drawn and I am very pleased with it!
Happy WOYWW everyone!

Birthday Cards
I made 3 birthday cards earlier this week and still need to make a couple more for all the February birthdays.
This first one is for a friend who loves New York and is a "grunge" style card. I am loving the lettering on the "tickets" made with a new alphabet stamp set I got!
And these two cat cards are for two people who like cats. The images are coloured with oil pastels and then covered over in a thin layer of watered down white gesso. The gesso seals in the pastels so it doesn't rub off and make a mess!
