A quick card I made for a friend's birthday. The stamp and die set are from Lawn Fawn! It is such a cute set and I can see I will use it quite a bit in the future!
A couple of simple cards I made last week. The first one was for a friend who got a new dog. I used a Paper Smooches stamp and for the background I just cut up strips of patterned paper and I like how it turned out! The 2nd card is just some hexagon patterned paper with a few hexagon-shaped wood veneers from Studio Calico, I wanted a more masculine card and this seemed to work!
I have a friend who is into all things New York so this is the card I made for him. I used the building stamp from my Studio Calico kit and the arrow paper and the vellum paper were also from the kit. And to finish it off, I used my Cameo Silhouette to cut a Statue of Liberty shape from POW glitter paper. I didn't put the Happy Birthday on the front in case he wanted to display the card with some of his other NY paraphernalia. I have since given him the card and he loved it! Yay!
This is a birthday I card I made borrowing an idea from KraftinKate on YouTube. I used a vellum envelope and filled it with confetti I made using a couple of punches and patterned paper. The tag I made with a Sizzix die and glued some of the heart confetti on it. And the doily was a free gift with an on-line order. Very feminine and pretty!
The Valentine's Day card I made for my DH! I tried to temper the girliness of it by using some grey and using a corrugated card base and I think it turned out pretty good :) He says he likes it which is what matter most!
This flower card was inspired by Emma at My Creative Time (scroll to bottom of post to see her version.) It is on a corrugated cardboard card base that I whitewashed. The flower dies are from Emma's shop!
And this very simple card was made for my friends that just adopted a second dog! They didn't adopt a bulldog but I didn't have a dog stamp that looked like their dog and I wanted to use the sentiment I made up to go with the stamp, ha ha! The bulldog stamp is an Alice Palace stamp from Crafty Individuals. My friend Sam did a card recently with an Alice Palace stamp and I loved it so much that I had to get a stamp from them as well! I love the Alice Palace line and plan to get some more!
